In my opinion, the presentation should be simple, clear, include many pictures (1 picture = 1000 words) and rather slogans than text. I imagine that it could be composed of:
1) Entry slide: Pangaea YEP logo and the logo of our project
2) Slide about our group: members and their photos?
3) A word of thanks to people from Nunavut (and not only - to older YE as well?) who have helped us with our research. Shall we thank Michael for his supervision?
4) Research summary - (more than just one slide, with many pictures, pointing out what we got to know?)we can't place it in our final project proposal and I think it will be good to show how much we got to know about the region, to highlight the variety of their problems and then pass to...
5) Issues we want to focus on in our project
6) The objectives of our project (here I imagine we orally signalise that because of lack of the most basic data such as place and time YE will spend there, we couldn't have been precise)
7) Ways of achieving our objectives (much, much more than just one slide
)
....
9)....
10) Budget planning&fundraising ideas
11) 'Thank you for your attention'- I know from personal experience that it is correct to ask for questions and seem eager to answer them
I know that some editing will be possible during the camp, but remember we will not have much time to work on it - so just cosmetic changes. In addition, the oral presentation is based on PP one, so to be able to prepare a 'script' of what is going to happen during 15 most stressful
minutes of my life (can speak only for myself)I would have to get it as early as possible ('skeleton' will be sufficient, so just to know what are slides going to be about)
