info - identify problems & needs ( after research this will be used for project )

Problems: substance abuse(drugs & alcohol), violence, depression, suicide, boredom, poverty , jobs, skills, don't like structured learning, school attendance, low self-esteem , health (TB /diabetes), inactive lifestyle, cost of skills training (travel for courses) , their culture not for leadership (see it as to show off),

Needs: Role models,activities, fun, outside actions, sport & equipment/ facilities, organisers, family unity , language education, not to feel discarded by others , school resources,

Likes:
* interaction with "outsiders",
* internet (fb /msn) ,
* sport (icehockey, floorhockey, badminton, table tennis, soccer, lacross, windsailing, T-ball/softball, basketball, dance, hiphop, skate, volleyball, swimming
* outdoor activities in nature (fishing, hunting, collecting eggs, skating, hiking)

Solutions: Role model talks/visits , Recreational Organiser, Adventure learning ( out in the field), Fun water games, recycled sport equipment, international youth outreach, adopt a school , nunavut- international school brother/sister to share & exchange task topics , PenPal Programme, YEP ,
